Popular Questions

COLORBOND® steel products come with a warranty backed by BlueScope, the manufacturer of the steel. The specific terms of the warranty may vary depending on the product and its intended use. However, in general, the warranty for COLORBOND® steel products provides coverage against corrosion, peeling, flaking, and chipping of the paint system.

The length of the warranty period may also vary depending on the product and the location of installation. For example, the warranty period for COLORBOND® steel roofing products may be longer than the warranty period for COLORBOND® steel fencing products.

It’s important to note that the warranty only applies to defects that arise due to faulty materials or manufacturing. It does not cover damage caused by improper installation, poor maintenance, or external factors such as severe weather or natural disasters.

If you have any questions or concerns about the warranty for your COLORBOND® steel product, you should contact us for more information.

Concept Kits provide all the necessary documents according the engineering of your kit. We will also provide you with the required engineering, form 15 and necessary plans of the kit ordered.

In Australia, local councils are responsible for issuing permits for a range of activities, including building and construction. The specific requirements and processes for obtaining permits can vary depending on the location in Australia and type of project. Generally, if you plan to build, renovate, or undertake any significant construction work on your property, you will likely need to obtain a building permit from your local council. This is to ensure that your building work complies with relevant building codes and regulations, and is safe for occupants and the surrounding community.

To obtain a building permit, you will need to submit an application in most cases to a Private Certifier or directly to your local council that includes detailed plans and specifications for the proposed work. The council will review your plans and conduct inspections to ensure that your work meets all relevant standards and requirements.

It’s important to note that obtaining a building permit is just one aspect of the building process, and there may be additional permits or approvals required depending on the specifics of your building site and boundary setbacks as an example.

Overall, it’s important to research the specific requirements and processes for obtaining permits in your local area, and to seek professional advice and guidance if you are unsure about any aspect of the process before purchasing any building kit.

Changes to the kit quotation are allowed and encouraged up until the point that the deposit has been paid and the project has entered the construction phase. However, any changes made after that point can only involve adding new items to the kit and not the removal or replacement of existing items. Once payment has been accepted the project cannot be cancelled in any circumstances.
